The Anemone

Let's get up close and personal with the anemone. She's sweet but also sassy. Often mistaken for a poppy, she has delicate petals and a unique blue-black center. Her curvy neck gives her just the right touch of whimsy that will have your bouquet or centerpiece popping!

Anemones are a very delicate flower. These flowers arrive fairly closed but once they have some fresh water, they’re quick to open. Shipping them in a closed bud form protects the flowers. After one or two days of hydration they will bloom beautifully.

Snip stems and change the water every day if possible. These stems do clog easily but with just a bit of attention, they can last for several weeks.

The stems are soft and have a natural bend to them. Cut the bottom of the stems at a diagonal 1-2 inches with sharp shears and remove all foliage that will be in the water and place them in water for hydration.
