They are an excellent choice for designs that require being out of the water for several hours. They are also ideal flowers to give volume and thickness to your floral arrangement.
- Trim and Hydrate: Using sharp scissors or clippers snip at least an inch off of each stem, be sure to trim at an angle to encourage maximum rehydration. Place the trimmed stems in cool water right away and give them some time to drink it in.
- Stem Care: To prolong the longevity of your greenery re-cut the stems and refresh the water every 2 days.
- Wait and Watch: It is a good idea to let any fresh-cut flowers hydrate for several hours or even overnight. This will encourage a sturdier stem and a longer vase life.
